Study Politics Around the World

Many politics majors study abroad for a semester while pursuing their degrees. The University offers an impressive diversity of study abroad programs that allow students to learn a diversity of topics in places around the world.

Three extraordinary study abroad programs are unique to Catholic University and tailored specifically to politics majors, and also open to all other majors. Each involves a semester of coursework taken overseas, combined with a for-credit legislative internship. These parliamentary internship programs offer a once-in-a-lifetime chance to intern in a legislature abroad. These internships tend to offer far more responsibilities and opportunities to students than would ordinarily be available with an internship on Capitol Hill.

• The British Parliamentary Internship program in London, United Kingdom, offered in the spring and summer
• The Irish Parliamentary Internship program in Dublin, Ireland, offered in the fall and spring
