There are many opportunities for CUA students to participate in politics-related organizations and groups on campus. The College Republicans and College Democrats are among the largest and most active groups on campus; they host a variety of events and guest speakers on campus, and their members volunteer for campaigns every election year. Many of our majors participate in student government (the Student Government Association), write for the campus newspaper (The Tower), or work for the campus radio station (WCUA).

Other established student groups that are popular with our majors include the Black Student Alliance, the International Affairs Association (which sponsors an annual Model UN Conference), the Pre-Law Society, Students for Life, and the Student Organization of Latinos. And, as some of our more entrepreneurial majors can attest, the campus is a great place to start a new club or organization of your own.
