Kathryn Jean Lopez (B.A. 1997) was awarded an honorary doctorate at the 2023 Commencement ceremonies. A nationally-syndicated journalist, Lopez is a fellow at CUA's Institute for Human Ecology and the author of A Year with the Mystics: Visionary Wisdom for Daily Living.
