The International Affairs Association Model UN Team of The Catholic University of America is proud to announce that our delegates received national recognition in multiple categories and committees at the National Model UN Conference this weekend, November 5th-7th, 2021.
Delegates spent weeks researching and preparing for the conference including attending an Embassy Briefing from Political Counselor of the Embassy of Finland, Niina Nykänen.
Their responsibilities at the conference included responding to international crises, such as COVID-19 recovery, civil rights, nuclear arms, and various additional topics through the use of diplomatic efforts, speeches, and formal writing skills to produce resolutions.
